19. Gray

It's a rock. Because rocks are gray. Deal with it.

I got real stuck on this one. I thought about doing something in black and white, like an old silent film or something. I didnt want to do anything sad or depressing because that would be too cliche. The problem is i really didnt want to draw a black and white movie scene, or more like I couldnt think of one to draw, and couldnt match the style with my own. I asked my roommate and she told me to draw a rock. That was a semester ago. Drawing a rock turned out to be harder than I thought. Maybe I was too concerned with making it look realistic. Maybe I'm just really bad at drawing rocks. In anycase, I finally got myself to sit down and draw that rock. And here it is. I'm going to continue to do these themes in Corel Painter.
